It's hot and dang humid outside. God bless air conditioning! It's supposed to thunderstorm today and tomorrow - which has prevented us from going to the pool. Go figure - if we head to the pool and it will immediately start raining....(at which refunds are a no-go at this place.) So, we will go to the pool perhaps Thursday?
Today has been the day of errands and getting alot of stuff done - which I am still on the go. I'm just taking a much needed breather. I have this rare time by myself (sans the Preston.) He and Josh went to get ice cream.
Pregnancy is going good - considering the heat and all. I'm just getting sick of people telling me how I look like I'm going to pop. Yes, I know I could combust at anytime but do you really need to remind me? O-well. About a month or so to go and I'll never have to be pregnant again! woohoo!
Two kids is rewarding enough for us - much to my parents dismay....they think we should have 4 or 6 or more! Good Lord! I like having my sanity thank you! I tell my dad that I'm still working on #2 and to leave me alone about having more! Put the pressure on my brother!! We've done our part to add to the family tree!!! My sister has 3 boys and 1 girl - yes God Bless her. They are constant busy and really tired all the time. You see, I want to enjoy my kids and be able to give them lots of attention - without being drained all the time. Besides, kids are expensive! Good grief! Two is all we can afford! Don't get me wrong, they are very rewarding and well worth all the effort. I love my babies!! ahhh it's unconditional love!
Yeah - good thing I love Preston through thick and thin! So there I was....
Josh and Preston were rough housing (watching wrestling...of course). I was relaxing on the couch and enjoying getting my feet up - finally. Preston comes over and wants up on my lap. Ok they little guy wants to cuddle....ummmmm no. All of a sudden he bites my left nipple through my shirt!!!!! OH MY GOD! Pain shot throughout my chest and a burning sensation radiated. Instantly I started crying - it has been awhile since I've been in that much pain. I feared looking at my wounded girl - if it looked as bad as it hurt, I was in trouble! Well it was a bleeder all right and it began to swell up. I grabbed a very cold soda can and iced it. Today it's still sore. Ugggggh.
Good thing I'm not breast feeding yet! Can you imagine how bad it would hurt if I had to have baby suck on it? oh Lord!
Yes, I have forgiven Preston. Good thing the darling is cute! He's teething and has been biting everything in site. Perhaps I need to get a metal bra!!!
