This is my ode to Coffee - well caffine in particular. Josh and I LOVE going for coffee. We don't get to get out much so having a coffee date (with the kiddos of course) is always a treat. We go to Caribu Coffee. LOVE their coffee. Starbucks is highly overrated. Well they did try to kill me a few months ago. (i wrote a post about it some time ago) (they gave me milk in my coffee instead of soy and I'm very lactose intolerant...)
When that moment happens where it's just Myla and myself, I go sit out on the patio of Caribu Coffee and just soak up the rays with my cup of java. Awwwww....now that is a simple pleasure I really enjoy experiencing. The sun + coffee = happy Ryan. :)
God bless you coffee!
Life is a roller coaster, filled with every emotion possible. Some moments over flowed with happiness, others sorrow...that is life. But choosing to love through it all is all that matters. Cheers to living an abundant life!

Myla's First Bath
One can dream, right?
Never imagined having two beautiful kiddos would be so rewarding and at the same time so tireding. My challenge is making sure I have a good balance of attention between the two. Then ontop of all that, be a good wife, housekeeper, chief, taxi driver, personal shopper, accountant, and oh try to look 'put together' - all at the same time. AHHHHHHH! Too bad a paycheck doesn't come with all those titles. I read somewhere that if a mom got paid for all that she does, her yearly salary would be around $280,000 or there abouts. How awesome would that be? Yeah I'll keep dreaming. You know, even if we were stink'n rich, I'd probably still be doing all those titles. Who am I kidding? I lied. I'd totally get a housekeeper and chief. Oh and throw in a personal trainer. I am SO motivated to get back into shape. We watched the Biggest Loser tonight. I LOVE LOVE that show. I wish I could go on that show. If all I did was workout and had a chief to cook me healthy food all day and night - I'd lose a crap load of weight. Well like I said in my last post, my butt will be in the YMCA alot once I'm recovered from giving birth. I just hate being this chubby. Liposuction sounds pretty darn good right about now! Anyone have $20 grand??

Long time since I've seen my poor blog
Wow time has flown! Is it really September 16th?! Good Lord! Well lots and lots has happened this past month. First off, we welcomed Myla Mae on August 24th at 1:48 am. After being 6 long days overdue, she had to be forced out by induction. My labor went really smoothly. I was in labor for just 6 hours and had the epidural immediately. Myla came out in just four pushes!! When I first saw her, I just cried. What a perfect baby she is!! I even got to cut her cord- which was really neat. The whole experience of her birth was just amazing. Boy 'o' boy am I ever so happy not to be pregnant any more! And we're stopping at two - which I'm thrilled with and relieved. I'm eager to get back into shape. They should make a law stating that women who just gave birth, should NOT look in the mirror naked!!! Yikes! I feel like a deflated, saggy ball. I have a good 30 pounds to shed. Just 3 more weeks and I can start kicking my own ass. We joined the YMCA! They offer all these neat classes - one in particular that is catching my eye - and that is Boot Camp - 3x week for 90 minutes. I'm all for it!!!
