Nothing but hookers and drugs ha

Oh wow it's been a heck of a long time since I"ve posted! Yikes! Life has been busy for our household.

Obviously my beloved Rockies lost the World Series. At least they made it that far, right?

We just got back from a trip to Nashville. It was a scouting trip to look at the area and figure out which part of town we want to live. When we first arrived there - oh about 1 am- we went to get some gas at a station nearby our hotel. As Josh was pumping gas, this really gross, fat lady with bleached hair, a gold tooth and a fat belly hanging out, came up to Josh and asked him ever so casually if he was from the area. Josh was like ' Um WE are here to look at houses to buy.' Can you say hooker? or perhaps Lot Lizzard? GROSS! She was nothing more than a $2 whore. Josh jokes that she was wanting to pay HIM for sex (versus the other way around...ha)
Then these 2 black dudes who where obviously on drugs were having a stare down with Josh. Ummm yeah.... we definitely were on the wrong side of the tracks! Welcome to Nashville! ha We learned rather quickly which parts of the city were good and which to never ever set foot in!

Once Josh graduates at the end of January, we are headed down that way. Good Lord! That's just around the corner!

We did find an awesome house we loved. So we placed an offer in on it. Did we get the offer we wanted back? ummm no. The sellers of the house came back with a crappy counter offer. They pretty much shot down every offer we had. Obviously they are mighty proud of their property. It's a gorgeous place but was over price for sure. So we just walked away from the deal. Josh and I were in immediate agreement to keep on looking for our perfect place. So the search continues....
